Study in Estonia in cooperation with Estonian universities will be actively participating and organizing different event in India`s cities in coming month. During one month long road-show, delegation from Estonia will take part different education expos, meet with local partners and also organize events independently and in cooperation. Universities visiting from Estonia are Tallinn University of Technology and University of Tartu. Other higher education institutions from Estonia, who cannot join the planned trip will be represented by Study in Estonia (Archimedes Foundation).
Visit to India starts with QS World Grad School Tour in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai, where education possibilities of Estonia will be introduced to potential students. In Hyderabad there will be also locally organized info session for students.
After the QS tour, the Estonian delegation will be also present at Study in Baltics Day in New Delhi together with other two Baltic countries` national agencies and Baltic universities. Joint venture called Study in Baltics Day aims to introduce Baltic countries and their higher education in cooperation with local Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian embassies in India. The event is organized by three Baltic national agencies, who are responsible for introducing their higher education and universities in India and abroad. During the Study in Baltics Day three Baltic countries will introduce their study possibilities and also have a Baltic Education Expo, where different Baltic universities will participate. The event, first one for national agencies to be held in cooperation, will be also attended by representatives from Estonian Ministry of Education and Research and Lithuanian vice minister for Education and Science. European Higher Education Fair India 2014 will bring top universities from 23 EU countries to Delhi (30 Nov-1 Dec), Bengaluru (03 Dec) and Kolkata (05 Dec). Estonia will be also represented at the different fair cities. The EHEF India 2014 is an event funded by the European Union. It will promote a European identity and European Higher Education in India by providing a platform for European Union Member States and Higher Education Institutions to showcase their education opportunities and facilities. This offers Estonia an excellent opportunity to introduce its education system, degree programmes and develop any future cooperation platforms with local partners.
