Coming to Estonia...
I had been living, working and studying across Europe and USA for over seven years before deciding for terminal education in Estonia. I decided on Estonia because of the profile of my professors, opportunities linked with industries, availability of charity work and the rich history, culture and music which somehow mirrors my own home country.

Before coming here...
All I knew about was information gleaned from websites and correspondence with Tartu University International Office. They provided me with necessary guidance and I could tell from the mails I was going to a very friendly place.

Student life in Estonia...
In Estonia, the professors and people are friendly and always ready to help. There are also many courses and directions of research, talk less funding opportunities. Life is cheap with fewer students in class, and more advance equipment and libraries. There is free internet and opportunity to take exams twice.

Studying in Estonia...
I have had the opportunity of meeting so many people from different parts of the world, expanding my contacts. It has also been fantastic to get involve in research in my field. I could not pay for such a high quality education in another part of the world.

Best things that have happened to me in Estonia...
I have had the opportunity of writing and publishing an academic paper, a completely new thing for me. Studies in Estonia have completely transformed my worldview, as I have encountered first hand Estonia and Eastern European culture and way of life.

I would tell others...
I would say it is an excellent opportunity that should not be missed. This is international education with excellent professors, research opportunities, library facilities and a friendly culture where you can adapt easily. This opportunity opens a new horizon in your life.

My degree programme is...
... not to be missed and opportunity for a better career.

While being away from my home country, I miss the most...
I miss my lovely family, traditional music and meals, childhood friends and the graveside of my ancestors

Studying is in Estonia is an international experience...
Encounter with new cultures and peoples of the world since the world is becoming a global village, broadened horizons and better job opportunities globally

My future plans...
My first move will be to spend sometime working in Estonia as a way of saying thanks to the Estonian government for this opportunity. I would then make a move yet to be determined.

The last thing I want to say...
Whew yea-aeh nwaah ie Estonia.
