Tallinn University’s international winter school celebrates its 7th birthday in January 2016! Tallinn University invites everybody to improve their Estonian or Russian language skills or to participate in experimental interaction design workshop. Tallinn Winter School will take place from January 4th to January 22nd and in addition to attending the courses, participants can learn more about the local culture.

Previous winter school took place in January 2015 and set a record in the number of participants. There were 77 participants from 20 countries (Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and USA).
The programme included 3 courses: Estonian and Russian language courses and a workshop in communication. In addition to the courses, Tallinn Winter School’s cultural programme offered the participants a chance to take part in an international evening, museum visits, lectures, movie nights and a trip to Lahemaa National Park. For many, the snowy Tallinn and the winter school’s atmosphere was really unforgettable, as one of the Russian course participants Jacob Hensh from the USA said: "It was a phenomenal experience with amazing instructors."
