STUDY IN ESTONIA is a cooperation platform of institutions of higher education in Estonia to create visibility of Estonia as an attractive study desitnation and promote the possibilities for studying for international students. The activities are coordinated by Archimedes Foundation under the programme DoRa (Developing Doctoral Studies and Internationalisation) and financed by the European Social Fund.Our partners can be all the institutions of higher education in Estonia who have signed the Agreement on Good Practice on Internationalisation of Higher Education. Meaning, the institutions who stand for the quality and good image of Estonia and the higher education provided here.
The main cooperation partners of Study in Estonia have been the institutions that provide degree programmes fully taught in English and internationally recognised - University of Tartu, Tallinn University of Technology, Tallinn University, Estonian University of Life Sciences, Estonian Academy of Arts, Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and Estonian Business School. In addition to providing instruction in English, they also have a well-working system of support services for international students.
There are more than 100 degree programmes offered by our institutions that are fully taught in English. This academic year (2011/2011) Estonia hosts nearly 1500 international degree students, more than 900 exchange students and ca 300 participants of summer or winter universities. We hope that all of you, who have made the decision to come to study in Estonia have experienced something new and gained valuable experience for the rest of your life.Together we carry out surveys and organise professional trainings, we publish information material, we organise and attend several different direct marketing activities. Study in Estonia team has been seen and praised for promoting our small country in a united way.
