TalTech School of Business and Governance Department of Law is launching a new master’s programme this autumn: Master of Intellectual Property and Data Law (MIPDaL). The MIPDaL programme is developed by an international consortium of six prestigious European universities, combining expertise in law, technology and innovation across the continent.
The consortium partners include:

➡️ Universidad Carlos III de Madrid – Faculty of Civil Law, Private Law Department
➡️ Université de Strasbourg – Centre d’études internationales de la propriété intellectuelle (CEIPI)
➡️ Tallinn University of Technology – Department of Law
Through this collaboration, the programme offers a high-quality multidisciplinary foundation in intellectual property and data law, together with the opportunity to specialise in one of three areas:
🔹IT & Data Law
🔹Creative Industries
🔹Industrial Property Law
Students will learn:
🔹the main concepts, methods, legal enforcements and regulations of different areas of IP & Data Law
🔹become familiar with “the state of the art” in the major fields of IP & Data Law
🔹to grasp and assess the differences and similarities between national legal systems from a European perspective in a number of specific areas of IP & Data Law especially with regards to the area of their particular interest.
